For a long time something was settling in me quietly. A quiet suffocation of not being fully, completely, freely myself. I could feel it moving beneath everything. From the coffee soil of Nepal to international cupping tables across the world, through meditation halls, farmers’ stories, seekers’ tears, the long silences between conversations. A whole life of searching, without quite knowing what was being searched for.
Today, on Buddha Purnima, the full moon of the one who taught that all suffering is simply the grasping of what was never truly ours, something released.
I feel it in my body. Lighter. Freer.
Today I found that freedom. Not as an idea. In my body. In my breath. I found a way to simply stay in bliss.
I was born Rajkumar Banjara. Rajkumar means prince. Banjara means the wandering one, the nomad who carries everything in his heart and is at home everywhere and nowhere. The wandering prince. I spent thirty years wandering through coffee, consciousness, soil and silence, belonging fully to all of it and permanently fixed to none. I did not know then that the wandering itself was the path.
Swami Vimukta Ananda. Completely liberated. Resting in bliss. I did not choose this name. I recognised it. And in recognising it, something that had been quietly suffocating for years simply… breathed.
And now, from this place of stillness, I want to walk forward with you. That is what Coffee Satsang is. Not a platform. Not a podcast. A gathering over a warm cup, in honest conversation, with whoever is ready to sit, breathe, and look a little deeper at this life we are all living together. If you feel called, come. The cup is warm. The door is open.
