There was no coffee program in the district until Mr. Narayan Dev Shrestha took coffee plantation initiation. Greenland Organic Farm has supported and encouraged him in various ways. He has formed the first coffee farmers group, Mahabharat Organic Coffee Farmers Group in Sindhuli District in 2015.

The blue beans may be the result of high moisture content caused by under-drying. While Roasting it was baked, resulting in a very flat cup.
